Hi there & nice to meet you!

My name is Marta. I'm a Wood Boar & Cancer, and I like: writing, reading, music (listening & playing), animals, mushrooms, food & nutrition, sports, and Zen practice.

I was born in Bucharest, Romania, in July 1995.

My favorite authors are Ruth Ozeki, Asako Yuzuki, Kurt Vonnegut, Tove Jansson, Charles Yu, Genki Kawamura, and James Joyce.

If I could write about one thing only, it would be a meditation on how we can narrow the (completely human-made) animal-human divide. This is my most recent take on it, in a nutshell.

I write all the time, be it for work (articles, documentary scripts) or for myself (poetry, journaling). I have published a novel and I'm working on publishing my second one, while planning my third. Writing makes my life a little more meaningful. I live a little longer when I'm present enough to see what's around me and turn it into something new.
